- Lady Bulldog Basketball closes out the month of January on Thursday evening with a trip to Magnolia, where they will face Southern Arkansas beginning at 5:30 pm
- SWOSU is in the midst of an NCAA era-school record 17-game winning streak and they've won their last 19 games played in the month of January, dating back to 2017
- The Lady Dawgs are searching for a season-sweep of Southern Arkansas for the fourth straight season after defeating the Muleriders 90-59 back on January 5th
- SWOSU has controlled the series against SAU since the teams began play in the Great American Conference, winning 14-of-15 meetings between the teams

- SWOSU enters the week tied with UC-San Diego for the third-longest active win streak in NCAA Division II at 17 games, trailing only Drury and Jefferson - both of which are currently 19-0 and ranked in the top five of both national polls

Maddie Sperle led SWOSU with a career-high 18 points on Saturday, knocking down 7-of-15 field goals and 4-of-7 three-point attempts against Harding
- Sperle became the fifth different player to lead the Lady Bulldogs in scoring this season, but the first to come off the bench to do so

Savannah Gray also set a new season-high with 15 points in 11 minutes of action against Harding, helping the Lady Bulldogs to a season-best 39 points from reserves

Hayden Priddy moved into fourth place on SWOSU's career scoring list with 1,526 points, which surpassed Jackie Snodgrass, who had 1,516 points for the Lady Dawgs from 1988-92

Hailey Tucker was named the GAC Player of the Week on Monday for the third time this season - 12th in her career - after averaging 21.0 points in the Lady Bulldogs two victories last week
- During the week, Tucker became the second player in Lady Bulldog history to score more than 2,000 career points and she's currently one of three active players in NCAA Division II to reach the milestone
- Making her first start in a SWOSU uniform,
Dovile Strimaitye totaled four points, four rebounds and three blocked shots before fouling out in 19 minutes against Harding
- In the latest national rankings, released on Tuesday, the Lady Bulldogs climbed one spot to sit tied for #15 in the WBCA Coaches Poll while holding firm at #14 in the D2SIDA Media Poll
