- Two teams looking to snap multiple-game losing streaks will square off in Durant on Saturday as SWOSU travels to face Southeastern Oklahoma State
- The Savage Storm won the first meeting between the teams this season, claiming a 92-77 victory in Weatherford back on December 1st
- SWOSU fell to 0-9 in Great American Conference play on Thursday night as they dropped a 77-61 contest at Northwestern
- Southeastern saw their slide extend to three straight games after East Central defeated them 89-84 on rivalry Thursday in the GAC
- SWOSU holds a 23-20 edge over the Savage Storm since the schools transitioned to NCAA Division II, but Southeastern has controlled the series recently with five consecutive wins

Nick Shoemaker moved into a tie atop SWOSU's all-time list for three-pointers made on Thursday night with two made threes
- Shoemaker now has 182 three-pointers made in his career, which ties him with Clarke Hale (2006-09) for the top spot in program history

Kamden Gipson was 4-for-6 from three and scored a career-high 19 points against Northwestern, surpassing his previous mark of 18 which he set back against UCO

Tre Evans recorded his third double-double of the season, tallying 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds against NWOSU
- Evans remains the GAC's leading scorer with 22.2 points per game for the year, but he's been held to fewer than 20 points in five of the last six games

Daniel Eibel hit multiple three pointers for the fourth time in the past five games and he has now knocked down a team-leading 24 three's this season
- In his final game in the town where he grew up,
Cooper Battisti posted a season-high four points with one steal at Northwestern
- SWOSU has shot better than 70% from the free throw line in seven of the past nine games, which has lifted the Bulldogs to fifth in the GAC with a free throw percentage of 71.5% (263-of-368)
