MAGNOLIA, Ark. – SWOSU Volleyball capped off a weekend sweep on Saturday with a four-set victory over Southern Arkansas at the W.T. Watson Center, winning by set scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-23, 25-15.
SWOSU had seven players earn a kill in the four sets led by
Danusia Sipa Borgeaud who totaled 13 in the match. As a team the Bulldogs totaled 57 kills to 15 attack errors to post a .250 hitting percentage. SWOSU held the Muleriders to just a .145 hitting percentage for the match including a negative percentage in the final set.
Along with Borgeaud – who would post a double-double of 13 kills and 16 digs –
Sofia Gruden and
Addie Aman also had double digit kills in the match. Gruden put down 12 kills with a hitting percentage of .611 while Aman totaled 11 kills and hit .300.
Allie Hoang also recorded a double-double in the match with 43 assists and 13 digs and
Kaitlyn Dillon led the Bulldogs with 23 digs on the afternoon.
SWOSU (13-4, 6-1 GAC) will return home to the Pioneer Cellular Event Center for a pair of conference matches next weekend, beginning on Friday (Oct. 5) as they take on Harding.
