Wichita Falls, Texas. – The SWOSU Soccer team was behind 1-0 to Midwestern State in the 57th minute when lightning would disrupt the match on Sunday afternoon.
The Bulldogs and Mustangs would be able to play just one full half before storms in the area would cause delays at the beginning of the second half. The match would be restarted after a brief delay, but not long after the teams would be sent back to the locker room for a second time to wait out the storms. After a few minutes the official word was given to end the match.
The Bulldogs will be back in action Tuesday, September 18 when they begin GAC play in Alva against Northwestern Oklahoma State at 6 pm.
