Box Score (html)
Walks got the Bulldogs in trouble in the second inning as a hit by pitch and a pair of free passes loaded the bases for the Savage Storm before a double cleared them all and scored three runs.
An unearned run in the bottom half made the SWOSU deficit 3-1, but single runs in the fourth and sixth innings added insurance for Southeastern starter Bryce Deatherage who managed just the one unearned run in all 7.0 innings of work.
Bryan Miranda went a perfect 3-for-3 in game two and SWOSU managed nine hits in seven innings, but couldn't plate enough runs to erase their deficit.
Jose Laboy (L, 0-1) went two innings in his start before giving way to
Tyler Tuck who finished out the remainder of the game. Tuck struck out six in 5.0 innings of work and allowed two runs (one earned).
