WEATHERFORD, Okla. – Five players scored in double figures as the SWOSU Women's Basketball team ran past Oklahoma Christian for a 98-73 victory on Saturday afternoon at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center.
 
The Lady Bulldogs lit up the scoreboard throughout the contest and controlled most of the first half tallying 61 points and ending the first 20 minutes of play on a 14-2 run. Hailey Tucker made her presence felt scoring 19 of-her 25 points in half number one.
 
SWOSU saw contributions from several players in the contest led by Tucker who put in a game high 25 points. Hayden Priddy added 20 of her own to go along with five rebounds and six assists. Tyra Aska pitched in 15 points and pulled down six rebounds. Taylor Hedrick tallied 12 and Bethany Franks recorded her first double-double of the season finishing with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
 
The Lady Bulldogs also had a good afternoon on the defensive side of the ball holding the heartlands leading scorer from a season ago to just 13 points and 4 of 22 from the field. SWOSU held Oklahoma Christian to 73 points including an 11 point third quarter on their way to a win.
 
SWOSU will take the court again on Thursday when they begin conference play against East Central in Ada at 5:30 pm
