Setting the Scene
- For the first time this season, the SWOSU Women's Basketball team will play at home in the Pioneer Cellular Event Center on Wednesday afternoon against Cameron
- This will be the first contest for the Lady Dawgs since earning a split at the GAC/MIAA Crossover with a loss to Emporia State and a victory over Missouri Southern
- Following the split, SWOSU dropped from both national polls, but they are still receiving votes in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Top 25
- Four of SWOSU's five starters are averaging better than 10 points per game for the year, led by Hayden Priddy at 16.0 points per game while Tyra Aska is at 12.0 points per contest
- Reigning Central Region Player of the Year Hailey Tucker struggled from the field during the opening weekend of play, but still managed to score 10.5 points per game
- This will be the fourth meeting in the last five seasons between the former Lone Star Conference foes, with SWOSU 3-0 in those games
 
About the Opponent
Cameron (2-2)
- The Aggies improved to 2-2 on the year with an 86-72 victory over Emporia State on Monday night in Lawton
- Cameron previously opened the season with an 80-74 victory over Newman before suffering consecutive defeats against Oklahoma Christian and Central Oklahoma
- Twice this season, the Aggies have knocked down 14 3-pointers in a game, including in Monday's win over ESU
- Three players average better than 13.0 points per game for the Aggies, who are led by Maighan Hedge with 20.0 ppg
- Emma Andrews is in her third season as the head coach of the Aggie Women's Basketball program following two seasons as the team's top assistant

- Hayden Priddy is on the verge of becoming SWOSU's career leader in assists, entering Wednesday's contest with 378, one off the record set by Valerie Fariss
- Priddy currently leads the Bulldogs in scoring and assists after averaging 16.0 points and 2.5 assists per game at the GAC/MIAA Crossover
- Tyra Aska posted 12.0 points per game while totaling four steals in the first two games of the season
- Bethany Franks is SWOSU's leader and ranked second in the Great American Conference with eight steals, an average of 4.0 per game
- Hailey Tucker struggled offensively on opening weekend, but she was perfect at the free throw line with 10-of-10 shooting from the stripe
- Tucker and Taylor Hedrick both averaged 10.5 points per game on opening weekend, while Franks averaged 9.0 to give SWOSU 58 points per game from their starting five and 13 points per game off the bench
- Savannah Gray was SWOSU's leading scorer off the bench with eight points in two games while hitting 2-of-5 three-point attempts
- In her first action as a Lady Bulldog, Dovile Strimaitye posted 2.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game along with blocking one shot in each contest
- SWOSU has won all three meetings against Cameron since the teams resumed their regular season series in 2014, including an 83-77 victory over the Aggies in their last trip to Weatherford
- SWOSU and Cameron were previously members of the Lone Star Conference from 1997-2011 and they've met 60 times all-time, including 31 since the two teams joined NCAA Division II

- SWOSU is right back at home on Saturday for a non-conference matchup against Oklahoma Christian at 1:00 pm
- Great American Conference play begins next Thursday with a trip to Ada before the Lady Dawgs return home to host Southeastern Oklahoma State on December 1st
- Two big non-conference matchups highlight the schedule the following weekend, as SWOSU hosts Lubbock Christian before a return trip to Oklahoma Christian
