Ada, Oklahoma – The SWOSU soccer team completed the season sweep of East Central, defeating the Tigers 3-0 in Ada on Thursday.
 
The two sides would battle for most of the first half before the Bulldogs would take the lead in the 22nd minute off a Memory Phiri goal. The defensive fight would continue for the rest of the half as the Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead into the locker room.
 
SWOSU started the second half in full control as Ashlyn Collier put one past the Tigers goalkeeper off an assist from Kylee Bertrand to push the Bulldog lead to two goals in the 51st minute. Minutes later Nicole Petrino found the back of the net, heading in a corner kick off the foot of Erica Brunet to extend SWOSU's lead to three goals in the 57th minute. The two teams would trade shots the remainder of the match but SWOSU would walk away from this contest victorious.
 
The Bulldogs will return to the Athletic Complex to host rival Northwestern Oklahoma State on Monday, October 15, at 3:00 pm.
