SWOSU Notes
- The Lady Dawgs will look to even their road record up against SE, currently holding a 6-7 mark in true road tests this season
- SWOSU will hope to carry their previous two defensive efforts to Durant after holding Northwestern to 27.9% shooting and then following up by limiting Oklahoma Baptist to just 25.0% overall shooting from the field (both of which were season bests for the Dawgs)
-
Katie Percival posted a season and career best against OBU by scoring 11 points including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc
- Taking care of the basketball proves to be important for SWOSU because the Dawgs are a perfect 5-0 when committing 12 or less turnovers per game
-
Shalie McAlister provided her second best rebounding output against OBU, coming down with seven boards on the night just one shy of her career high
-
Tyra Aska managed a perfect 5:0 assist to turnover ratio while scoring 13 points on Thursday
- The
Hayden Priddy and
Hailey Tucker duo combined to shoot 7-for-12 (58%) from beyond the arc and accounted for 38 points
-
Taylor Hedrick still remains SWOSU's go-to player off of the bench, averaging 8.6 ppg which ties her with
Whitney Dunn and
Savannah Gray who both also are averaging eight points per game in the starting lineup
Looking Ahead
- Next week will mark the final three games for the Lady Bulldogs as SWOSU will host SNU on Monday, OUA on Thursday and HSU on Saturday to conclude the regular season
- GAC Tournament play will begin March 2 and go through the 5th in Bartlesville, Okla.
