- Friday the Bulldogs will take on Southern Arkansas at 6 pm and then they will turn around and host Arkansas-Monticello the following afternoon at 1 pm
- In the 19 games SWOSU has played this season, Friday and Saturday's contests will mark just the third and fourth times the Dawgs have played in Weatherford in 2017
- SWOSU will also look to rebound after Tuesday's loss to Oklahoma City, falling 3-1 to the Stars which snapped a small two-game winning streak

The Opponents
Southern Arkansas (6-13, 0-5 GAC)
- The Muleriders come into Friday's match on a four-game losing streak, all of which have been GAC contests
- SAU ranks sixth in the league in blocks, totaling 190 assisted and 31 solo in 69 sets played

SWOSU Notes
- Despite the loss on Tuesday to Oklahoma City, SWOSU is still riding a two-game conference winning streak and can continue that trend against SAU and UAM
- Kaitlyn Dillon's standout week defensively (55 total digs and career high 37 against Oklahoma Baptist) last week gave the libero her second GAC Defensive Player of the Week award of her career, winning the honor almost exactly one year ago as well
- Addie Aman also had a career game against OBU, collecting 16 kills (career high) while also adding three blocks and two service aces
- At home in 2017, the Bulldogs are 1-1 after losing 3-1 to Southern Nazarene in the home opener and taking down Oklahoma Baptist 3-2 last Thursday (Sept. 28)
- Excluding one set loss against OBU 25-13, SWOSU has kept the sets they've dropped at home close with only a -11 margin in the other four frames inside the PCEC
- After starting the year with 17 of their first 18 contests away from home including a 13-game streak to start the season, SWOSU will have nine of the final 13 games of the regular season played in Weatherford

Looking Ahead
- Tuesday, October 10 the Bulldogs will host Southwestern Christian with a 7 pm start
- SWOSU will then travel to Arkansas to take on Arkansas Tech in Russellville on Friday (Oct. 13) at 6 pm and Harding in Searcy on Saturday (Oct. 14) at 2 pm
