- The Lady Bulldogs have won six straight games to improve to 7-5 on the year and they've won three straight Great American Conference games to even their league record at 3-3
- East Central enters the game with an overall record of 2-8, but they're just one game behind the Lady Dawgs in the GAC standings at 2-4 after knocking off Harding last weekend on their home floor
- SWOSU has the longest current win streak among league schools at six, twice that of league-newcomer Oklahoma Baptist who has won their last three contests
- The Lady Bulldogs have played 10 of their 12 games this season at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center, where they are 6-4, and they finish the season with nine of their final 15 games away from home
The OpponentEast Central (2-8, 2-4 GAC)- On the road for the first time in 2016 after splitting at home last weekend against Harding and Arkansas Tech
- Finished winless against a tough non-conference schedule and both of their victories have come in GAC action
- Lowest-scoring team in the Great American Conference, averaging just 55.7 points per game, but they hold opponents to 63.4 points per game for the league's second-best scoring defense
- Connecting on 34.9% of their field goal attempts for the year, while SWOSU's league-leading field goal percentage defense holds opponents to 35.7% shooting
- Led in scoring by Alexa Adair, who is averaging 15.1 points per game for the year and shooting 35.3% from 3-point range
- Aalyiah Blakely is averaging 10.0 points per game, but she's only appeared in four games this season, and four other players for ECU average between five and nine points per game
- Jalyn Jackson is the Tigers leading rebounder, averaging 6.8 boards per game this season
The CoachesSWOSU: Kelsi Musick (97-85; 7th season)- Two-time GAC Coach of the Year has been the model of consistency, winning GAC Tournament titles in two of the last four years and earning back-to-back NCAA Division II National Tournaments during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons
- Her high-energy style of play has led the Lady Dawgs to rank in the top four in the nation in scoring, and top ten in three points made in three of the last four seasons
- A great developer of talent, Musick has coached one All-American and 12 All-GAC selections, including one Player of the Year recipient
- Musick has also spent time as an assistant coach at Fresno State, where they won two Western Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles, as well as qualified for the NCAA Division I National Tournament in the 2008-09 season
- Has a record of 9-5 against East Central as the head coach of the Lady Bulldogs, including a record of 3-1 at home against the Tigers as GAC foes
East Central: Matt Cole (17-20; 2nd season)- In his second season at East Central, where he became just the fourth head women's basketball coach in Tigers history prior to the 2014-15 season
- Led ECU to a 15-12 overall record and a quarterfinal appearance at the GAC Tournament in his inaugural season in Ada
- Spent the prior 11 seasons as an assistant women's basketball coach at Northeastern State, where he helped the RiverHawks to seven NCAA Tournaments and two Sweet 16 appearances

Hailey Tucker has reached double figures in scoring in five straight games, upping her season average to 12.9 points per game, which now leads the team
- SWOSU has scored at least 70 points in 10 straight games, with better than 80 points scored in five of the last six contests, helping the Lady Bulldogs up their season scoring average to 79.8 points per game
- The Lady Bulldogs are ranked second in the GAC and 14th in NCAA Division II in scoring offense
