Box ScoreWEATHERFORD, Okla. – Dallas Baptist put four goals past the Bulldogs and ran away with the victory. Emilie MacDonald, Ashley Cox, Emma Durain and Leah Draper all scored for the visiting Patriots. The Bulldogs were held goalless for the first time in four matches.
The visitors scored on their very first shot in the second minute of action. Dixie Kurrus sent in a cross form the right side of the box that bounced around the box before MacDonald collected the ball and deposited her shot in the goal.
SWOSU looked to have pulled level shortly after when
Eva Rule beat her mark down the right flank to the end line and sent in a cross. Her timing with Kelly was just slightly off however, as Kelly's shot went just wide of the goal. This was the only shot the Bulldogs registered in the first half.
DBU doubled their lead in the 31st minute when Cox nicked the ball of a defender and got on goal with only
Courtney Flores to beat. Cox got the better of Flores on the occasion with a low shot to the left corner.
The Patriots recorded the final goal of the half in the 43rd minute. McKenna Namken dribbled deep into the left side of the box and squared it to Durain. Durain collected the ball in the middle of the box and sent the ball into the right side of the goal. The whistle blew shortly after for halftime.
Draper scored the game's final goal shortly after the interval in the 51st minute. Cox sent in a cross that was headed square by MacDonald. The ball found Draper in the middle of the box and sent her header into the top left corner.
Kelly led the Bulldogs in shots with three, though none were on frame.

Cindy Ramos also recorded one shot each during the final stages of the match. Flores recorded seven saves during the contest, bringing her count to 67 on the season.
The Bulldogs will look to rebound when they welcome rival Northwestern State to the Athletic Complex on Sunday at 1 PM.
