Southwestern Oklahoma State University Athletics

Rachel was a Del City High School graduate and was recruited to Southwestern by long time golf coach Cecil Perkins to help start the women's golf program in the fall of 1995. While at SWOSU, Preble-Poole was an NAIA All-American in 1997 and 1998 and a member of the 1997 team that was the NAIA National Runner-Up. In 1998, the squad won the Lone Star Conference Championship and finished third in the NAIA National Tournament. Individually, Preble-Poole finished second in the national tournament in 1997 and third in 1998.
