Ernie Stout

Stout was a two-time National AAU wrestling champion in 1933 and 1934 and also captured the NCAA National Championship in 1933. He later wrestled with the Los Angeles Athletic Club where he and his brother, Foy, both won Pacific Coast Titles. He served two years as an instructor of Navy Pilots with the war training service. He eventually came back to teaching and coaching wrestling and did so for 37 years, the last 10 were at Wetumka High School where he served as superintendent.
